Natasha McDonough
With over 25 years of experience in Retail Buying, Planning, Sourcing, and Brand & Business Strategy, I bring deep expertise in product analysis and strategy. I’ve helped drive growth, streamline operations, and implement scalable processes across a broad range of product categories and functions.
From large-scale brands like Witchery, Gap, and Michael Hill – with sales remits in the nine-figure range – to small, family-run businesses, I understand the unique challenges of retail at every level. Whether it’s Clothing, Footwear, Accessories, Home & Gift, or more recently, Fine Jewellery, the core challenges remain the same – just on a different scale.
What I love most is the product itself – planning it, analysing it, understanding trends, refining processes, and building strong supplier relationships. I'm passionate about sourcing, QC, tech packs, collaborations, and mentoring teams. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong appreciation for the power of data in driving the right decisions for both the customer and the business. It's about finding opportunities, improving margins, and making smarter, more strategic choices in an increasingly competitive market.
What continues to inspire me is working with talented people, mentoring and training teams, and helping businesses – big or small – build strong product foundations and long-term strategies. I’d love the opportunity to support you in achieving your goals.
I can highly recommend Natasha who is an experienced retailer with an affinity for both the data, analytics and numbers side of business, blended beautifully with a keen eye for trend, creativity and product development.
Natasha takes time to build meaningful relationships with key stake holders to understand the requirements before developing successful strategies to address the needs.
Natasha is a pleasure to work with and brings a wealth of experience across a broad retail sector bringing great versatility, expertise and immense support to any individual or business alike.

(GM Retail – Witchery, Group GM Retail Operations – Gap)
Natasha was a critical member of my team at Witchery for many years. She initially worked across Witchery Women’s and was later handpicked to support me as GM, in building and launching Witchery Man—an ambitious project we brought to life together in just four months. At the outset, it was just the two of us, and Natasha played a pivotal role alongside me, in every aspect of launching the brand—from defining the product market position and handwriting, to developing our pricing architecture and securing a reliable supply base on low MOQs. Not an easy task with every product category.
Her ability to interpret commercial trends in a fast-paced, trend-driven business like Witchery was essential to our success. Natasha worked tirelessly to establish our OTB, product investment strategies, and pricing structures, all while negotiating product ranges that met our margin targets. We scaled Witchery Man quickly into a double-digit store business. Natasha’s drive, insight, and commitment were instrumental in making this launch not only possible but successful.
